Harlequin Romance Pitch Event, So you Think You Can Write

Harlequin is hosting a Twitter Pitch event on March 30th, 2022 from 9am-5pm EST. They are looking for diverse voices and diverse stories in Romance. Be sure to include the hashtag #RomanceIncludesYou. If they are interested in your story, they will like your pitch. Then, they usually request a synopsis and first three chapters. Please understand you manuscript should be completed and polished because if they like the chapters, they will request the full. For complete details, go here.

The latest submission event is an open-ended submission period (no deadline). Harlequin wants to publish more diverse and inclusive voices and stories. If you think you’ve got what it takes and have a polished romance manuscript ready for submission, this might be for you!

Harlequin #SexyBlitz Subs Ending

On August 1st, 2016, Harlequin put a call out for writers of sexy, contemporary romance because they’re launching a new sexy contemporary series! They dubbed this the #SexyBlitz submissions. Ooo-la-la. So if you have a manuscript you’ve polished in this category, this is for you. But you need to hurry because the subs close on September 15, 2016.

You’ll need to send your first three chapters and a synopsis to submit. But be sure and check out their series guidelines before sending your manuscript!
