SavvyAuthors is sponsoring a pitchfest with editors from Sourcebooks starting May 8, 2018 (9am EST) and ending May 10, 2018 (11:59pm EST).
You do not have to be a member to participate. Just post your three-line pitch directly on the blog when the pitch event opens. You just need to have a valid email. SavvyAuthors is hosing a Spring WOW’em Pitchfest for authors with completed and polished manuscripts. They’ll have agents and editors available on their blog from 9am May 17 to 11:59pm May 19, 2017 (Sorry they don’t mention time zone.) In order to participate, writers will need a three line pitch. Happy Mothers Day to all the wonderful mothers in the world. For all the times you kept going when everyone else became ill, good job! For all the troubled times you were strong and everyone around you crumbled, I’m proud of you! For every dream you set aside to help another achieve theirs…you are awesome! For every person you tucked into bed to chase nightmares away and lost your own sleep, go you!
But this is YOUR day! It’s okay to sit, sleep, read a book, let the dishes sit, not pick up any clothes, let someone else fix supper, or have another do the laundry. Rest, because you deserve it! And it’s okay if you want to seize life and do something spontaneous or out of character. Take a hike, explore a cave, climb a wall, bungee jump, repel, or ride a bike along the beach. Take the kids or don’t take the kids. Seize your day because you are MOM and you are APPRECIATED!
